Improving access to services through efficient and accountable referral pathways

Q1: when accessing RIMS, the page gives this message “The requested URL /alpha was not found on this server”

You should correct the written web address. The correct web address to access RIMS system is :

Q2: I typed my login credentials, pressed login and nothing happened

You need to check the following:

  1. Check if the filled credentials are correct
  2. Check your internet connection and browser
  3. Clear cashed history and login again
  4. Re-write your credentials and untick remember me
  5. Contact your focal point to reset your password
  6. Make sure you didn’t add any space before or after your password
  7. Make sure the keyboard is not on Caps Lock mode

Q3: how do I know Which cases I created and received?

You can either check:

    1. The referrals main page as demonstrated below:
    2. The RIMS mailbox where you have and inbox and sent similar to your outlook account:
      • Sent: is for created cases
      • Inbox: is for received cases

Q4: how to search for cases already created / received

In the Referral main page, under the referrals a button for search is already found
Step 1: Press on the Search button, a new window will appear on the left of your screen.
Step 2: Customize your filter using either Record type (created, received), Status (draft, pending,
accepted …etc.), Beneficiary bio data, specific needs and Sector.

Q5: how to send the case to a specific focal point

You should create your referral and save it and then open it again in order to refer

  1. Open your drafted referral and press on action and then refer, a new window will appear to choose your desired focal point press on the labeled point at the left.

  2. A page will appear giving you the option to search for your focal point based on organization, focal point name, phone number, user email, sector and services.
    Note: the service mapping will also have a matching score, to find the suitable focal point that will service your referral based on location and referred to sector and needed services.

Q6: unable find the focal point am searching for.

If the focal point is not found, you should check the following

    1. Check the naming, and the organization name, user email…etc.
    2. If point 1 is met, most probably the focal point is not registered in the service mapping database
      and you have to create for them a new form as follows:
      • From the section service mapping section press on New button where a new window will open showing the details that should be filled for this new focal point

    • After filling the main page, press on save and then go the bottom of the page and press on
      the blue labeled service details, a new page will open in order to fill the service details, reenter the already saved user and continue filling the remaining data.


Q7: I select a focal point from the service mapping and the field where the field where the email should appear is not showing.

Go to service mapping section, search for the specific user and open their profile.

After checking their profile, go to the bottom and check their service details data where in this new page there is a field called user email, most probably this field is empty and therefore the email is not appearing, fill this field with the appropriate user email, save and try again.

Q8: how to know how many referrals I’ve done through a defined period?

From referrals main page, press the button export. An excel file with your registered referrals will download automatically, you can filter your data based on the desired date.

Q9: how to attach a file along with our referral

When creating the referral, down right of your window you have an attach icon, press this icon and a window will show in order to drag and add our desired file.


Q10: how to clear my cashed history

If your using chrome please do the following

  1. At the top right, click More.
  2. Click More tools à Clear browsing data.
  3. At the top, choose a time range. To delete everything, select All time.
  4. Next to “Cookies and other site data” and “Cached images and files,” check the boxes.
  5. Click Clear data.
